Modified Fall Nationals
LEBANON, MO. (Sept. 7, 2006) - The Lebanon I-44 Speedway is proud to host the
first-ever Modified Fall Nationals starting on Friday night.
The two-day show, starting Friday, will feature one of the highest payouts for a
Modified show in the nation. The 20-car feature will pay $2,000 to the winner
with $400 to start.
Friday night will be Modified qualifying. Drivers will draw for their heat races
and will then run two trophy dashes to determine the top of the starting field.
The B qualifying features and main feature will be run on Saturday.
Friday racing will also feature Factory Stocks, Bombers and Rookies. The
ever-popular Powder Puff and Mechanic's races will also return Friday night.
Factory Stocks, Pro-4s, Super Stocks, Bombers and Rookies will run in addition
to the Modified features on Saturday night.
Entry fee for the Modified event will be $100. Pit passes will be $25. Lebanon
I-44 Speedway rules will apply. Only American Racer G60 and Hoosier IMCA
Modified Tires can be run.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. with races starting at 7:30 p.m. Grandstand adult
admission is $10 and adult tier parking admission will be $12. All juniors will
be $5 and children 12 and under are always free.
A field of less than 40 cars will see a slightly smaller payout - $1,500 to win
and $350 to start.
After this weekend of Modified racing, fans and drivers will only have two more
weeks of racing. September 16 will be the Season Championship. September 22 and
September 23 will be the 4th annual Larry Phillips Memorial Race. The memorial
race will be a MARS-UMP Clash. Support classes will be announced later.
