Lebanon Midway Double Points Produces New Winners-Myers Makes
It 3 Straight In Fastrak LateModels

Lebanon, Mo. (June 9, 2006) - Action on Friday Night on double points night
provided excellent action as 2 new winners took there 1st wins this season with
over 80 race teams on hand.
The Bomber feature would see 23 strong take the Green flag as points-runner up
Jack Hamer lead the field down with Larry Franklin close behind. followed by Joe
Francis and Missy Shaw.Hamer who usually waits and then goes forward late in the
race was setting a quick pace tonight as Francis moved into the 2nd place spot
as Shaw,point leader Shawn Winfrey and Franklin followed.A caution midway
thorugh the feature bunched everyone up as Hamer again took the top spot with
Francis gaining ground.Winfrey looked upstairs on Francis as the battle for 2nd
place was close as last weeks winner Derrek Brown was coming from the 11th spot
into the top 5 by lap 12.Hamer moved through the lapped trafiic flawlessly as
the field took the white flag as Winfrey was putting pressure on Francis.Heading
for the checkered flag,Hamer grabbed his 1st ever A feature win as Francis tried
the top groove and spun in turn 4 coming for the checkered flag as Winfrey moved
around to grab 2nd place followed by Brown,Franklin and Mike Piercey coming from
22nd starting spot.
The Modified feature kept the crowd on the edge of there seats all night long as
Troy Young brought the field down on the start and took the opening lead with
Wayne Graybeal grabbing 2nd place quickly.On lap 3,Graybeal moved to the bottom
and took control over young with Eric Hudson,James Hartman and Tony Jackson Jr
in tow.On lap 4 the yellow waved with Young spinning after contact with
Hudson.On the restart,Graybeal again jumped to the lead with Hudson close behind
as Hartman and Jackson were side-by-side.On lap 6,Jackson moved into 2nd place
and closed-in on Graybeal.This battle lasted the entire distance as Jackson
tried several lines around Graybeal,but the former IMCA Nationals winner kept
the top spot.Back in the pack,Hartman,Hudson and points leader Jamie Ragland
along with Jim roach were fighting for position.Up front Graybeal had a good
line around the track as Jackson again tried inside and outside.On lap 18,the
battle between Hartman,Hudson,Ragland and roach found Jack Jones moving up
quickly and catching the lead duo.With 1 to go,Jackson went upstairs,but
Graybeal kept the nose of his DirtWrks Car on the bottom and claimed his 1st win
of the season with Jackson,Ragland,Hartman and Hudson following closely.
The WngedSprint Cars took the green flag with Joe Todd jumping to the early lead
with Klye Bellm close behind as point leader Clint Todd battled early.A lap 3
caution saw Keith Breedlove's night end early along with John Rowland.On the
restart,Joe Todd jumped to a 5 car length lead,but Clint Todd set his sights on
his dad and took control on lap 4.Last weeks winner Eric Todd was charging from
11th and battled with Matt Tatro for 3rd place by lap 8.Up front Clint Todd
never looked back in grabbing the victory followed by Joe Todd,Eric Todd,rookie
Kyle Bellm and Tatro at the stripe.
The FactoryStock feature saw point leader Tim Brown have problems with his car
during the heat races and start his son's Bomber car in the rear.At the
start,Rich Allen jumped to the early lead with James Ellis close behind.THis
battle last until lap 5 when Ellis moved to the outside and took control.On lap
7,Chris Ratterree bunching the field up as Ellis and allen battled up front,Tim
Brown moved up to 3rd place on lap 8 as this trio were battling hard.Brown moved
into 2nd place on lap 9 and Ellis hung on until lap 13 when Brown made a low
groove move to grab the lead and withstood a last lap surge by Ellis to grab the
win.Ellis,Allen,Kyle Jefferies, and Glen Dismang completed the top 5.
Ben Newell jumped out in fornt early and never looked back in winning the
Superstock feature with Donnie Gennings,JC Newell,Bill Joiner and Bill Scharr in
the top 5.
In Fastrak LateModel action,point leader Mike Berger jumped to the ealry lead
with Rustin Miller close behind along with Tony Jackson Jr driving the Big Bad
dodge tonight in the 0 car.
Ron Myers moved to the outside lane on lap 5 and moved around both leader Berger
and Jackson to take the lead and never looked back as Jackson made a late race
surge in recording his 3rd in arow in Fastrak Action.Jason Otto came through the
pack late to grab third followed by Tracey Cottrell and Miller.
Next Friday night,The O'ReillAutoParts MLRA SuperLateModels will be in action
along with racing in the Superstocks,FactoryStocks,Modifieds,and Bombers racing
for bonus points with the Gates opening at 5 hotlaps at 7 and Racing at 8PM
sharp.
