Trankler/Bartels captured first place in the $1,000 to win
special "Cruiser 1000" at the Poplar Bluff Speedway

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. - (Sept. 16, 2006) - The team of Trankler/Bartels captured first place in the $1,000 to win special "Cruiser 1000" at the Poplar Bluff Speedway Saturday night. The team of Brown/Dunning was second with Foster/Horton third, Rigdon/Ridgon fourth and Hanley/Michaels fifth. They were followed by Leach/Leach, Kepner/Kepner, Crump/Crump, Griffin/Daniel and Ladd/Hunt.
In the Modified class feature, Shane Moody was the winner with George Charles second, Tim Radford third, Tim Cater fourth and Jeremy Stevens fifth. They were followed by Randy Stevens, Jeff McGhee, Mark Melloy, Scott Burge and Chuck Tilley.
In the Super Street feature, Jason Pennington was victorious with Doug Moore second, Greg Sparks third, Jamie Robards fourth and Scott Tracer fifth. They were followed by Jason Palmer, Jason Winkle, Ron Lacy, Paul Reeder and Matt Rushin.
In the Pure Street class, Mark Todd was the winner with Chris Kelley second, Coot Wilson third, Kyle Oberkramer fourth and Robert Williams fifth. They were followed by Austin Rettig, Rob Lee, Jacob Black, Donna Tilley and Delain Scott.
In the Dwarf car feature, Jeff Asher picked up the checkered flag with Brad Paquet second, Mike Zaricor third, Scott Bell fourth and David Rafferty fifth. They were followed by Matt Dotson, Justin Buchholz, John Leahy, Ryan Poyner and Aaron Bell.
