Poplar Bluff Speedway Prepares For Final Two Weekends

POPLAR BLUFF, MO. (Oct. 9, 2006) - The final two weeks of the 2006 racing
season will provide race fans with a huge amount of entertainment and variety.
On Saturday, Oct. 14th, the Street Stock $2,500 will be held. There is a $75
entry fee for the Street Stocks that night. The Modifieds, Pure Streets, Dwarf
cars and Cruisers will also be racing, but for their regular payouts. There will
also be a mechanic's race that night. Awards for the 2006 racing season for the
Late Models, Modifieds and Super Streets will be given out. Pit prices for this
special night are $30 with grandstand admission $15 for adults with kids ages
6-12 being $8 and kids 5 and under admitted free.
Then on Saturday, Oct. 21st, the final night of the season at PBS, the ASCS Sprint Cars will be on hand, plus the Dwarf Car 1000 will be raced. The Modifieds, Super Streets, Pure Streets and Cruisers will participate with their regular programs. There will also be a Powder Puff race. Awards for the 2006 season for the Pure Streets, Dwarfs and Cruisers will also be handed out. Pit passes for that night are $30 with grandstand prices $18 for adults, $8 for kids ages 6-12 and free for kids ages 5 and under.
