MARS Outlaw Late Models Return to Lebanon I-44 Speedway This
Saturday
LEBANON, MO (May 28) - A late afternoon shower washed out this past Saturday's
races at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, but now fans can look forward to this
Saturday with the Late Models of the Mid-America Racing Series.
The MARS Late Models return one month after a thrilling Saturday night in early
May that saw 2006 Lebanon I-44 Late Model Champion Brad Looney win his first
MARS series event, with Lebanon driver Brandon McCormick finishing running-up,
and ahead of Bill Frye, Terry Phillips, and Jeff Taylor.
The stars in the cars of MARS will be back this Saturday night, and look for
Jack Sullivan, Will Vaught, and Justin Wells to issue some payback to Looney and
McCormick, as they look to reclaim glory at the high banks of the Lebanon I-44
Speedway. $3,000 goes to the winner of the MARS Late Model feature.
Also this Saturday, the Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Bombers, B-Mods and Rookies
will be in action.
Gates will open at 4:30PM this Saturday. Hot laps run at 6:45PM, and racing
starts at 7:30PM at the Lebanon I-44 Speedway, off of interstate exit 135. $17
for Adult Grandstand admission. Juniors 12-15 are $5. Kids under 12 are free.
Wild Side admission is $20.
