“Two for One Saturday” features MOLS at I-70 Speedway

ODESSA, MO (June 9, 2007) “Two for One Saturday” provided fans with an even
greater value as the ASALM Northern Tour Presented by K C Power Equipment, was
the features event on the Asphalt and the Midwest Outlaw Lighting Sprints had
top billing on the Dirt Track. One their third appearance of the season, the
Lighting Sprints provided, for the third time, great racing action for dirt and
asphalt fans alike.
After their qualifying heat races, the Midwest Outlaw Lighting Sprints raced
their 20 lap feature event without a single caution. From his pole position
start, Dusty Murry in the #46 led green to checker to win his first MOLS feature
at the I-70 Speedway Dirt Track.
Following Dusty and challenging for the top spot was Beau Heavelow in his #4
sprinter, 25 Donnie Graves, 19 Lenny Heffernon, 11 Duane Marusarz, 9s Chris
Schofiled, 18 John Eaton, X Jim Bevan and the #58 of Frank Ikerd. Joe Lackner’s
#9 was not able to make the call for the feature.
The next event scheduled for the I-70 Speedway Dirt Tack will be Wednesday night
June 13th, the nations top modified drivers will compete as the USMTS Modified
Touring Series will take on the D shaped clay at I-70 Speedway. Along with the
modified travelers, area stock car drivers will compete in the “Stock Car Shoot
Out”.
On Wednesday night; the pit gates will at 4:30, admission gates will open at
5:30. Hot laps will begin at 7:00 with racing at 7:30. For additional
