Double Points Night/Kids Coin Scramble And Enduro Race At Lebanon Midway
LEBANON, MO (July 12) - The Action continues hot and heavy on Friday night as the Lebanon Midway Speedway will be hosting the 2nd Double Points night this season along with another kids night as the Mid-Missouri Bank Coin Scramble will be held at Intermission for the kids 10 and under. Also the track will be running the 1st Enduro of the season with a 75 lap affair after the racing action with the winner recieving $750 to win.
Heading into the action Friday Night on a lucky Friday the 13th,the tight battles will see several positions move around.
Current SuperStock point leader Donnie Gennings heads up a very tough field of drivers as defending champion Ben Newell is only 13 markers behind.Newell who who Tuesday night will be starting towards the rear of the field.
The Winged Sprints have a close battle also as JP Compton has shown a very consistant season dispite not winning a feature event yet.Compton the veteran out of Crane has a 4 point lead over Joe Todd and 2005 champion Eric Todd by winning Tuesday night has moved into 3rd place only 27 points behind.
Rolla's Eric Hudson has been a consistant front runner holds a 44 point lead over 2005 champion Jamie Ragland with newcomer Craig Wood holding a strong 3rd place.
The FactoryStock Class has yet to have a repeat winner as Dylan Keepper heads the pack with a slim 13 point advantage over veteran Bobby Ratterree.Raterree won the feature 2 weeks ago with start 11th in the feature as 6 different winners have been crowned this season.Troy White is only 30 points behind and with doule points at stake,it could be close.
Lebanon's Mike Piercy who has been strong this season holds a 99 marker advantage over Lebanon's Keith Cheever,but the race behind Piercy is tight as 2nd place through 7th is only separated by 14 points.
The New B-Mod class has a familiar name as Jason Otto will bring his lead over Colt Cheevers of Macks Creek and Lebanon's Troy Young.
Also the Missouri Legend Cars will be in Action Friday Ngiht as the Midway is
offering a full card of racing action and things for the family.
Gates open at 5 with hotlaps at 6:45 and Racing at 8PM.
