groove with Ragland using the bottom of the track. The action stayed close until
lap 12 when Ragland took the lead from Brown as veteran Rex Merritt was charging
from his 12th starting spot.On lap 14,Merritt moved around Brown and set his
sights on leader Ragland. From there it was nip and tuck with the battle of
Ragland and Merritt with Brown hanging to 3rd.The checkered flew with Ragland
holding off a late surge by Merritt followed by Brown,Jason Hughes and Craig
Wood.

following. With Clint Todd using the middle groove,Comptom was putting his right
rear tire perfect on the top groove cushion and pulled to the leader Todd on lap
