Dillard-Fowlkes Motors Sponsors Great Night of Racing Action WEST PLAINS, MO (April 26) The Dillard-Fowlkes Motor Co., sponsored weekly race program was the best night weather wise that fans and drivers have had this season. A great field of anxious drivers lined the pit row and action got underway right on time. Brandon Ball of West Plains, returned to Victory Lane after his second IMCA Modified feature win of the season. Coming in second was Carmon Vincent of Moody, followed by Tony Anglin of Walnut Ridge, AR, Chris Piper of West Plains, Tony Carnal of Cabool, Brian Judd and Calvin Tribble, both of West Plains, Rustin Miller of Houston, Kevin Collins of West Plains, and Austin Smith of Mammoth Spring rounded out the top ten. Balance of the Modified field included:Chris Skinner of Moody, Lonnie Evans of Houston, Jerry Croney and Denny Tryon, both of West Plains, Carl Murphy of Caulfield, Jason Brigman and Matt Barry, both of West Plains, Bobby Skinner of Moody, Shawn Walsh of Ash Flat, Fred Scarbrough of Koshkonong, Denny Dennison and Bill Adams, both of West Plains. Stan Ellison of West Plains, seven time track champion won his first Super Stock feature of the season. Coming in second was Derald Kelly of Birch Tree, followed by Bobby Bryant and Kevin Collins, both of West Plains, Dee Kelly of Birch Tree, Andy Collins of West Plains, Jeff North of Rogersville, Bruce Sutterfield of Bono, AR, Jason Pennington of Quilin, MO, Darren Fox of Mtn. Grove, Will Love of Batesville, John Cody Kelly of Birch Tree, Jamey Daughhetee of Walnut Ridge, AR, Herman Kelly of Birch Tree and Clint Seamans of Imboden. Making a return appearance to Victory Lane was Robert Williams of Van Buren, MO, after he won another Hobby Stock feature. Taking second was Kevin Collins followed by Dexter Frost, and they're both from West Plains, Shane Hitt of Birch Tree, John Stiner of West Plains, Dean Smith of Mammoth Spring, Larry Duke and David Medlock, both of West Plains. A first time winner in the Cruiser class this week was Tyler Newcom, a 17 year old from Hardy, AR. Taking second was Clifford Collins, II, followed by Bill Harden, both of West Plains, Sissy Ratliff-Seamans of Imboden, Rhonda Gunter, John Zuchowski, and Benny Grogan, all of West Plains, Chris Eash of Highland, and Mark Doiron of West Plains. Ben Piper of West Plains won the Youth Hobby feature this week followed by Kyle Duke and Dakota Frost, both of West Plains. Balance of the field included Cody Toten of Pomona, Chase Williams of Caulfield, A.J. Smith of Mammoth Spring, and Kevin May of Pomona. Next week Great Rivers Distributor of fine Budweiser products in our area will be bringing the Show-Me Racin' Series Late Models to West Plains Motor Speedway for the first time this season. Gates will open at 5 p.m., hotlaps at 6:30 p.m., with racing at 8 p.m. Adult admission will be $15, kids 7-11 $3 and pit passes will be $30.
