Lebanon Midway Racing Action Produces 4 New Wiiners/Neuman Top USRA Mod Feature LEBANON, MO (June 21) - With Rain forcing Friday Night's action to be cancelled, officials made the decision to make-up the race on Sat night and the decision was a good one as 94 raceteams checked into the pits with a quick and racy track as 4 new winners grabbed checkered flags. The USRA Modified Feature saw a new winner as Justin Neuman jumped from his outside front row starting spot and never looked back in grabbing his 1st 2008 Season feature win.The battle for 2nd was fast and tight as Eric Hudson and Tony Jackson Jr went bumper to bumper and side by side for the entire distance of the feature event as Hudson brought home the runner-up spot with Jackson Jr,Steve Muilenburg and Jimmy Willis crossing behind the flying Neuman. The FactoryStock feature saw its 7th different feature winner as Chris Darnell charged from his 18th starting spot to record the win.Justin Stoufer lead the early laps with Kenny Carroll close behind.Tight racing for third place with Sheldon Stoufer, point leader Tim Petty and others kept the crowd watching all over.Darnell was able to catch leader Stoufer and make the winning pass on lap 13 to grab his first ever FactoryStock Career win along with his first Midway feature event.Following close behind was early leader Justin Stoufer,Kenny Carroll,Tim Petty and Derek Brown in the top 5. The B-Mods again provide great racing as Trent Harrison grabbed the opening lead, but Josh Woody took control until lap 4 when Harrison made the pass for the lead. While Harrison was setting a quick pace,Woody,Kenny Dickinson and a pack of others were swapping spots. On lap 10,Woody finally cleared a fast moving Dickinson for second and began his move on the leader Harrison.Coming out of turn 4 for the checkered flag,Woody made a low groove move and nipped Harrison for his second win of the season with Harrison,Dickinson,Mickey Burrell and point leader Jason Otto following close behind. The SuperStock feature would see a 15 lap feature go green, white and checkered as Clinton Betts jumped to the early lead with Bill Joiner right on his bumper.Betts had his car on a rail as he made no mistakes and starting pulling away while Joiner,Larry Prewett,JC Newell and point leader Ben Newell along with Bennie Joiner were racing for positions.Out in front Betts was not to be denied as he grabbed his first ever feature win with Bill Joiner,Ben Newell,JC Newell and Bennie Joiner following. The Bombers provided another last lap drama finish as the field of 22 kept everyone on te edge of their seats.Jack Hamer grabbed the early lead, but defending champion Mike Piercy took control with point leader Brandon Knudtson following.Knudtson took over on lap 3 while Billy Waters,Keith Cheever,Jack Hamer and Tim jones were racing hard. The yellow waved on lap 5 as Piercy's night ended with motor problems,Waters spun and Cheever had axel problems. On the restart Knudtson found Tim Jones on his bumper with josh Lewis a solid third place as last weeks winner Shawn Strong and 13th place starter Shawn Winfrey were moving forward. On lap 13,Winfrey caught the leader Knudtson and made the pass for the lead.Heading for the final lap,Knudtson and Winfrey went side by side into turn 1.Knudtson got into a slower car heading for the pits as Winfrey went hard into turn 1 with Shawn Strong right behind them.Winfrey spun in turn 2,Knudtson went high on the track and Strong went around for the win,his third of the season as Knudtson,Tim Jones,Josh Lewis and Hamer completed the top 5.
