Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series to Flippin Sept 19, Springfield Sept 25th with Kenny Wallace

SPRINGFIELD, MO (Sept 18) - The Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series is looking forward to a busy week – On Friday Sept 19 the series will head to North Central Arkansas Speedway in Flippin, AR for their second appearance at the track this season. Ken Essary is the driver with the bulls eye on his back, as his worst finish in 4 series races at the track is second, winning the other 3.

Then on next Thursday evening Sept 25th the Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series will take to the track at Springfield Raceway for their first annual “NASCAR night.” Kenny “the Herminator” Wallace will be racing his #36 JEG’s sponsored Modified AND a Show-Me Series Late Model on Thursday Night September 25th. Kenny will be hosting an autograph session from 5:15 to 6:15 along with the local stars of the Springfield Raceway. The Raceway’s 1st Annual NASCAR night will feature the stars of the Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series as well as the Modifieds and Bomber divisions. Raceway officials have kept the show to just three classes in an effort to get everyone home early with the race being held on a week night.
“We are trying to build our NASCAR night as an annual event and it has been something we have been working on for the last year”, stated Doug Bland co-owner of Springfield Raceway. “Jerry Hoffman and I feel this weekend is a natural fit for this event since the NASCAR drivers will be competing at the Kansas Speedway on Friday through Sunday” said Bland. Officials are thrilled to have Kenny Wallace not only signing autographs, but actually racing against our local stars.

Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 pm on Thursday night and pit gates will open at 4:00 pm. Tickets will be $15 for adults and $5 for children 6-12, with 5 and under free. Pit passes are $30.

Also, be sure to listen to the “Talkin’ Dirt” radio show on Saturday September 20th on FM 95.9 from 10-11 AM or AM 940 from Noon-1:00. Kenny Wallace will be the special guest on the show.
