Lebanon Midway Announces 2009 Class Rules
LEBANON, Mo. (Dec 3) - Officials at the Lebanon Midway
Speedway have announced the 2009 Class rules with very little changes for
the upcoming race season.
The track plans on racing 5 classes on a regular rotation with the classes
competing for the 2009 season including LateModelSportsman(formally
SuperStocks),FactoryStocks,A-Mods, B-Mods,Bombers and Purestocks with
special races for Enduros and FarmTrucks.
There will be no rule changes for the FactoryStocks and the A-Mods will
follow the USRA Modified Rules.
The Bomber Class will stay the same except for no gutting of the car being
allowed in 2009.
The LateModelSportsman class will find drivers being allowed to run the
current car rules or running a LateModel Chassis but must be a 2 link
suspension in the backend and motor rules call for a B-Mod legal Motor or a
602 or 604 GM Crate Motor.Weight for both types of cars are 2800 Lbs and
Hoosier WRS D55's will be the tire rule.No mixing of rules of the 2 car
makes.
In the Popular B-Mod class no spoilers will be allowed and the car will be
allowed to run the Pull-Bars on the rear suspension.The Carburetor claim
will be $300 with NO exchange as the top 4 finishers may be eligible to be
claimed by another driver who finishes on the lead lap or the track has the
option to claim also.
The new Purestock rules will following the Dallas County Speedway rules or
Hornets will also be allowed to compete in this class following the
SpringfieldRaceway Hornet Rules.
These 2 types of cars will also be eligible to compete in the Enduro Races.
The Speedway will also be hosting FarmTruck Racing Enduros once a month and
