LEBANON, Mo. (Jan 23) - Officials at the Lebanon Midway Speedway have announced that they will again sanction with the USRA Series for the Modifieds for the 2009 season.

The United States Racing Association offers season ending track point funds while they also offer a chance for the local racers to have a chance at a National Championship based on their best 20 A feature finishes at local competing tracks.

Last season,Lebanon,Mo driver Jamie Ragland came from behind to claim the title at the Midway while finishing 13th in the National standings.

The USRA Series offers a solid rules package for the drivers as tracks in Missouri, Minnesota, Kansas and Iowa were on board for the Casey's General Stores Championship chase.Just recently Outlaw MotorSpeedway in Muskogee,Oklahoma signed on for 2009.

Popular Nascar driver and TV Host Kenny Wallace will be competing with the toughest Modifieds in the Midwest when the United States Modified Touring Series makes its only stop at the LebanonMidwaySpeedway on Friday Night May 15 at the Ozarks Action track.

Wallace who has a second place feature finish at the Midway will be competing in his own Impressive Chassis from the Donnie Jumper Race shops in Hillsboro,Mo.

Wallace will be attempting to make the field over a star-studded field including Former National Touring Champion Kelly Shryock,Jason Kruhn,2008 National Champion Tim Dolinger and a host of locals including 2 time Midway Champion Jamie Ragland of Lebanon,2007 Champion Eric Hudson of Rolla,2006 champion Tony Jackson Jr of Lebanon and many others as the USMTS Modifieds make their second carrer stop at the Midway
