MB Motorsports signs Ben Stancill to pilot #63

WRIGHT CITY, MO (April 9) - MB Motorsports is pleased to announce that Ben Stancill will pilot the #63 Ford F-150 NASCAR Camping World Truck, campaigned by the veteran MB Motorsports team, in the “O’Reilly Auto Parts 250” NCWTS race at Kansas Speedway on Saturday April 25th, 2009. This will be the first of 7 scheduled events in 2009 for the MB Motorsports Team with Stancill at the wheel.

MB Motorsports is one of only two teams left in the NCWTS that has fielded a truck since the inaugural 1995 NCTS season. Roush Racing is the other team.

20-Year old Ben Stancill is a native of Ayden, North Carolina and has been racing since he was introduced to the sport by his Grandfather at age 7. He started out in go-karts quickly capturing several track championships and top finishes at the state level of competition in both dirt and asphalt. Ben began running Legends cars in 2002 and has won several state championships and consistently finished in the top 5 in the Nation each year. Ben is a 2005 graduate of the Skip Barber 3-day Racing School (Sebring, Florida.) Ben has competed in as many as 66 races in one year with 42 top five finishes.

In 2006, Ben moved into a Late Model Truck and in his first season captured the Championship at Hickory Motor Speedway. During the 2006 season, Ben ran three Hooters Pro Cup Series events qualifying on the outside pole in his first Pro Cup race! Ben competed full time in the Hooters Pro Cup Series during 2007 and was the recipient of the Leavitt Chassis Hard Charger Award. In 2008, Ben ran several races in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series as well as several ARCA/REMAX events in preparation for the 2009 season in a NASCAR Camping World Truck. Ben finished 7th in his first race at Chicagoland Speedway and topped the speed charts in his first test at Talladega Superspeedway!
