LEBANON, MO (April 20) - The Action track of the Ozarks-The Lebanon Midway Speedway is ready to open the gates for the 2009 racing season with its 5th season of exciting dirt track racing action.
Action will see all 6 classes in action which will include the USRA
Modifieds,FactoryStocks,B-Mods,LateModelSportsman,Bombers and Purestocks. The weatherman has decided to give us a beautiful longrang forecast for Friday night and by the way the early season practices have went,it will be a banner season at the Midway. Purestocks are the newest edition to the Midway family this season and should provide plenty of racing action as they will be eligible to run in the Month-ending Enduros this season. Defending champions include Jamie Ragland(USRA Modifieds) Tim Petty(FactoryStocks) Jason Oto(B-Mods) Brandon Knudtson(Bombers) Ben Newell(LateModelSportsman) and JP Compton(Sprints).The 305 Sprints will not be a regular class this season-but will be involved with the Non-Winged Sprint shows and O'Reilly Winged Outlaw Warriors this season at the Midway. Admission for this season opener will be $10 for Adults while Kids 11-15 are $5 and 10 and under are Free. Pitpasses will be $25.
