SPRINGFIELD, MO (May 8) - After kicking around several ideas during the off-season, officials with the Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series have made a decision regarding the “bonus points” situation for weekly shows at Springfield Raceway. In an effort to encourage
series drivers to support Springfield Raceway during weekly shows, drivers
will be awarded 10 points for their attendance for up to 5 events for a
maximum of 50 points throughout the year. These points will be added to
the driver’s total series points at the end of the season. The “ A driver must attend 75% of
the Show-Me Series special events to be eligible for point fund money and
prizes regardless of how many races they compete in at Springfield Raceway.

Also, in a new development this past week, Lucas Oil Speedway has decided to allow Show-Me Series cars to compete with their weekly division. Cars will be checked using series rules, ULMA cars will be checked by their rules, and crate cars will also be allowed to compete. The Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series is thrilled that these tracks have came on board in support of our rules package, giving our drivers a place to race on a weekly basis. We encourage our drivers to support these tracks as much as possible during off nights of Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series special events.
