USMTS Stars To Tackle Springfield Raceway Quick Quarter

LEBANON, Mo. (May 13) - Oklahoma's Jason Hughes will roll into the pits
Friday night at the Lebanon Midway Speedway with the hottest streak around
for Modified racers as the USMTS National Mo-Kan Bear Tire Regional event
make their only appearance this season at Lebanon Midway.
Hughes coming off a weekend sweep in the Southern Regional series in Texas
will find the talent and competition very tough.
Nascar's Kenny Wallace will be on hand racing and also doing a special
autograph session is looking for his first ever USMTS Victory and Midway has
been a strong track for the popular Nascar Driver.Last season Jon Tesch
dominated the action at Midway and multi-time National Champion Kelly
Shyrock will also be competing.Heading up the local talent will be 2008 USRA
Midway champion Jamie Ragland of Lebanon,2007 champion Eric Hudson of
Rolla,2006 champion Tony Jackson Jr of Lebanon and many others.A field of 40
plus Modifieds from at least 8 states are expected to compete.
Racing will also feature FactoryStocks,Bombers,B-Mods, and Purestocks as
they compete in track point races.
Admission for Friday May 15th's races is $15 for Adults and Kids 10 and
under Free.
Gates are slated to open at 5 with Hotlaps at 7 and Racing at 8PM.
