Lebanon Midway Announces Schedule Changes-USMTS Event

LEBANON, MO (July 22) - Officials from the Lebanon Midway Speedway have
announced several schedule changes for the 2009 racing season.
The rescheduled USMTS event at the Midway set for Aug.7th has been cancelled
and will not be rescheduled."With the hunt the following week in SouthWest
Missouri at Monett and Springfield on weeknights it will be tough on the
fans to choose which track to go to."Quoted owner Jack Jones."The hunt is a
great series and Format for the traveling Modifieds and are races that
people need to go watch.We just don't feel that it will be a good date for
Midway."
Instead on Friday Aug 7th,Midway will be running a regular points show
featuring USRA Modifieds,FactoryStocks,B-Mods,Bombers and PureStocks.Fans
that have ticket-stubs from the rainout date can use them for the Fall Brawl
in Sept or contact the Speedway for more information.
The 2 day O'Reilly MARS event set for Sept 4-5 has been cancelled also.The
track will run a regular points show featuring
FactoryStocks,B-Mods,LateModelSportsman,Bombers and Purestocks on Friday
Night Sept 4th.
In other Speedwaynotes,The famous Doctor Danger will be making an apperance
and preforming at the Speedway on Friday Night Aug.21.Friday night Aug.7
will be Hardee's Night at the races and the track is about to release the
information for the big season ending Fall Brawl to be held on Friday and
Sat Sept 25th and 26th.A bigpayout is expected and the classes to be
competing.
