SPRINGFIELD, MO (March 20) - The Popular Southwest Missouri based Show-Me Racin Series Late Models will help kick-off the 2010 racing season at the Springfield Raceway Sat March 27th along with their season long battle as it will be the 1st points event for the Touring Late Model Series also. 2009 found Aurora driver Justin Wells topping the points charts as he and Arkansas Series driver Ken Patterson joined forces before the season and drove a TNT Chassis to the title. The winner will recieve $1000 in the LateModel Feature event and also a chance to shoot a 3 point basket for an extra $100. Also on the racing card will be A-mods battling for $1,000 to win, SportMods racing for $400 to win and LegendCars battling for $300 to win. PitGates open at 11AM with Hotlaps at 2PM.Racing action is slated to start at 3:30.Pitpasses will be $35. Grandstand gates will open at 1PM with Adult Admission $15 kids 6-12 will be $5 and 5 and under Free.
