WHEATLAND, MO (April 20, 2010) - It's FREE Speedway Schedule Poster night
Presented by the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety at Lucas Oil Speedway
this Saturday April 24th plus a FREE Pre-Race Concert by Eric Lane and the
Doghouse Band. "It has been said that we sound like Johnny Cash meets Bruce
Springsteen" stated band member Eric Gulliford. They have opened for many
National acts including David Allan Coe and Johnny Lee. Classes in action
include the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and
Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks in the second Rockstar Energy Drink
Weekly Championship Series Event of the season. Darin Walker, Jesse Stovall,
and Kenny Carroll all picked up wins in an exciting evening of racing last
Saturday night.
Darin Walker driving the #24 Late Model with a GM 604 Crate Engine holds a
slim three point lead over Walnut Grove, Missouri's Jeremy Kelly in the TNT
Quick Shop ULMA Late Models after one week of racing action. Warrensburg,
Missouri's Jon Binning holds down the third spot just 5 points out of the
lead with 2009 Track Champion Tommy Cordray in fourth and Springfield's R.D.
Peterson in fifth driving his familiar orange and yellow 2P machine.
Jesse "the Undertaker" Stovall has opened the season with two consecutive
hard fought wins in the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds but only has a slim twelve
point lead over Laquey, Missouri's David Hendrix who has had two very
consistent runs to start the 2010 season. Veteran Jeff Cutshaw holds down
the third spot just 35 points out of the lead. Upstarts Kris Jackson from
Lebanon, Missouri and Shawn Nations hailing out of Macks Creek, MO are tied
for the fourth spot just six points behind Cutshaw and only 41 out of the
lead.
Defending Track Champion Kenny Carroll driving his beautiful Blue and White
#94 machine picked up right where he left off last year picking up the win
in the season opener for the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks and taking
a narrow point lead over Wheatland, Missouri's Chip Shaddox. Stoutland,
Missouri's "Downtown" Tim Brown sits in third in a tie with Urich,
Missouri's Troy Reasoner Jr. for the third spot in points only 7 behind the
leader Carroll. Dylan Keepper holds down the fifth spot only 9 points behind
the leader after one night of racing action.
Gates open at 5:00pm this Saturday with Eric Lane and the Doghouse Band
scheduled to perform from 5-6pm on the Midway. Hot Laps get under way at
6:30 and racing set to start at 7:05pm. Adult Admission is just $12 with
Seniors and Active Military only $8. Juniors (6-15) are only $5 and kids 5
and under are always FREE at Lucas Oil Speedway. Show Your AAA Membership
Card at the gate and receive $3 off any Adult or Senior General Admission
Ticket. Advance Tickets are available at Carson's Corner NAPA Auto Parts,

Family Passes are priced at only $25 for this event which includes entry for
two adults (age 16 and up) and up to three youth (ages 6-15), One Free Slick
