WARRENSBURG, MO (April 24) - Early morning rains forced the cancelation of opening night at CMS Saturday morning, postponing the racing season for another week at the fastest high banked clay oval dirt track in the Midwest! The speedway will try once again next Friday night, yes; you read correctly, next Friday, April 30th, CMS will be racing a special co-sanctioned event with the ASCS and WoW 360 Sprint Cars and 600cc Micros! Sprint and open-wheel fans will not want to miss this show as the 360 drivers compete for $1,500-to-win. This is the first appearance of the 360 sprints at the track since 2005! General admission prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, military and college student w/I.D. and $10 for kids 12 and under. Stick around after the Friday night program for the next night, Saturday, May 1st for the weekly season opener with the ‘Mighty’ Modifieds, ULMA late models, street stocks, and b-modifieds.
