USMTS Modifieds Challange Springfield Raceway Sat Night
SPRINGFIELD, MO. (June 1) - Perhaps the greatest open-wheeled Modified Show
on Dirt, The USMTS Modifieds will challange the quick-quarter of the
Springfield Raceway Sat night June 5th for their only scheduled apperance of
the 2010 season.
Last season in their first ever apperance at the Speedway, Springfield's
Terry Phillips and Oklahoma's Jason Hughes stagged a classic wheel to wheel
battle for almost the entire race with Phillip's claiming the victory after
taking the lead from Teammate Jeremy Payne as SpringfieldRaceway Champion
Jackie Dalton earned the pole and set the pace for the opening 3 laps.
Drivers from Missouri,Arkansas,Oklahoma,Texas,Kansas,Minnesota,Iowa and
surrounding states are expected to compete in the 40 lap action packed
feature.
This will be a Falcon Wind Power Mo-Kan Regional Event in which Hughes holds
the regional lead over Kelly Shryock
Support classes will include the SportMods,Legends and StreetStocks as they
compete in normal point events.
Pitgates will open around 4PM with the Grandstand Gates to open at 5PM.
Hotlaps are slated for 6:05PM and Racing at 7PM.
Admission for this only apperance scheduled for this season for the USMTS
Series is $15 for Adults 6-12 $5 and 5 and under Free. Pitpasses will be
$30.
