Solberg Wind Thrilling Factory
LEBANON, MO (July 23, 2010) - Lampe's Eric Tinderholt has been close several
times this season while competing in the Lebanon Midway Speedway Energy
Company Modifieds to grabbing a victory, but Friday Night in a highly
competitive feature Tinderholt made an early 3 wide pass on lap 3 taking the
top spot from Chris Tonoli and Micheal Stake and withstood a late caution to
take his first ever Modified feature at the Midway Speedway Friday Night
while close finishes highlighted the racing events in all classes.
The Modified feature saw Chris Tonoli and Tinderholt on the front row with
points runner-up Tyler Brown and Micheal Stake in row 2.At the drop of the
green, Tonoli grabbed the early lead as Tiderholt went to the low side and
Stake jumped to the high groove. With Tonoli setting a fast pace,Tinderholt
stayed close with Stake running up in the top groove. With Tonoli holding the
middle line and Stake pulling even on the top groove,Tinderholt made a bold
move to pull even with Tonoli and pulled off a 3 wide pass coming out of
turn 2 to grab the lead as Stake followed up on the top side.Tinderholt and
Stake ran side by side with Stake leading at the stripe on lap 6 as the duo
kept this great battle as points runner-up Tyler Brown had moved into third
place while point leader Wayne Graybeal had quietly moved into fith place.A
lap 9 caution waved for Kolt Barker as the field bunched-up on the restart
with Stake again jumping to the high-side as the battle continued up front
while a fast moving Brown had Tonoli,Graybeal,JC Morton and Josh Woody all
battling as Bobby Maggard Je was coming quickly. The race outcome changed on
