SportMods/B-Mods to Run with Lucas Oil
ASCS Sprints and A-Mods on Sept. 25th
WHEATLAND, MO
(September 7, 2010) - Officials with Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland,
Missouri and Representatives from Nemo Quarry in Pittsburg, Missouri are
pleased to announce the addition of SportMods to the racing card on Saturday
night, September 25th along with the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series
Presented by K & N Filters and the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds. "The SportMods
or commonly referred to as B-Mods are a great open wheel class with a lot of
local drivers, we wanted to give them a chance to try their hand at the
Diamond of Dirt Tracks especially as we consider class and scheduling
options for 2011. I know they will put on a great show and we appreciate
Nemo Quarry stepping up to bring the SportMods in for the fans along with
the Winged Sprint Cars and the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds." stated Lucas Oil
Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson.
The Nemo Quarry SportMod Feature Event will start 24 cars and will pay $300
to win and $50 to start. Complete Payout is as follows: 1st) $300, 2nd)
$250, 3rd) $200, 4th) $150, 5th) $100, 6th) $95, 7th) $90, 8th) $85, 9th)
$80, 10th) $75, 11th) $70, 12th) $65, 13th) $60 14th-24th) $50. B-Feature
cars not advancing will receive $35. Springfield Raceway SportMod Rules will

The Pitt's Homes A-Mod Feature Event will start 24 cars and will pay $500 to
win and $75 to start. Complete Payout is as follows: 1st) $500, 2nd) $400,
3rd) $350, 4th) $300, 5th) $250, 6th) $200, 7th) $175, 8th) $150, 9th) $125,
10th) $100, 11th) $90, 12th) $80, 13th-24th) $75. B-Feature cars not
advancing will receive $50.
Top Names expected to be in action for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Cars
include 2009 National Champion Shane Stewart, Jason Johnson, Gary Wright,
Zach Chappell, Jack Dover, Tony Bruce Jr., Brian Brown, and many more of the
top Winged Sprint Car Drivers in the country!
The Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, MO. A
campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With it's
entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping
facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of
