WHEATLAND, MO (September 22, 2010) - The Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt
Series Presented by K & N Filters invades the Lucas Oil Speedway in
Wheatland, Missouri this Saturday, September 25th as the top Winged Sprint
Car Drivers in the country go wheel to wheel at the "Diamond of Dirt
Tracks". This National Tour event paying $6,000 to the winner will be a
Nationally Televised event, also featuring the Open Wheel Pitt's Homes
A-Modifieds and the SportMods Presented by Nemo Quarry. The Lucas Oil ASCS
National Series has attracted fields of more than 50 entries in all three
previous visits to Lucas Oil Speedway with past winners including 2008
Knoxville Raceway 410 Track Champion Brian Brown, Current ASCS National
Series Points Leader Jason Johnson, and 2009 ASCS National Champion Shane
Stewart,
Eunice, Louisiana's Jason Johnson leads the Lucas Oil ASCS Points Standings
with 2281 points over Broken Arrow, Oklahoma hot shoe Brady Bacon, who sits
in second with 2209 points. 2009 ASCS National Champion, Shane Stewart holds
down the third position in the season long points battle as the Bixby,
Oklahoma racer wheels his Rockstar Energy Drink #57 in pursuit of the 2010
title. Fan favorite Jack Dover out of Springfield, Nebraska occupies the
fourth spot just ahead of Benton, Arkansas' Tim Crawley. For more

Spectator Gates will open at 5:00pm on Saturday, September 25th with Hot
Laps set to get under way at 7:00 and the first big race of the night at
7:30pm. Adult Admission at the gate will be just $25 with Seniors and Active
Military only $20. Juniors (6-15) will be $5 and Kids 5 and under are always
FREE at Lucas Oil Speedway. Show Your AAA Membership Card at the gate and
receive $3 off any Adult or Senior General Admission Ticket. Pit Pass
pricing is set at $35. Pill draw for the A-Modifieds and SportMods will
close at 6:30, drivers checking in after 6:30 will be placed at the rear of
a heat race and will not receive passing points for their heat race.
Family Passes are priced at only $50 for the event on September 25th, which
includes entry for two adults (age 16 and up) and up to three youth (ages
6-15), One Free Slick Track Go-Kart Ride, discounts on kids, meals, gift
shop merchandise, and funnel cakes.
The Nemo Quarry SportMod Feature Event will start 24 cars and will pay $300
to win and $50 to start. Complete Payout is as follows: 1st) $300, 2nd)
$250, 3rd) $200, 4th) $150, 5th) $100, 6th) $95, 7th) $90, 8th) $85, 9th)
$80, 10th) $75, 11th) $70, 12th) $65, 13th) $60 14th-24th) $50. B-Feature
cars not advancing will receive $35. Springfield Raceway SportMod Rules will

The Pitt's Homes A-Mod Feature Event will start 24 cars and will pay $625 to
win and $75 to start. Complete Payout is as follows: 1st) $625, 2nd) $490,
3rd) $435, 4th) $350, 5th) $300, 6th) $220, 7th) $195, 8th) $170, 9th) $145,
10th) $120, 11th) $90, 12th) $80, 13th-24th) $75. B-Feature cars not
advancing will receive $50.
