Firefighters to
"Pass the Boot" to raise funds for Joplin Tornado Relief Efforts
WHEATLAND,
MO (June 6, 2011)- With the very successful DART Show-Me 100 in the rear
view mirror for 2011, Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri gets back to
Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series racing this Saturday, June
11th with
KIX 105.7 Night at the Races.
The
Frog Signs Lucas Oil Speedway Junior Fan Club will also be hosting a
special Firefighter Appreciation Night this Saturday as all Firefighters
with ID will get FREE Admission to this Saturday's racing action. In
addition, several area Fire Departments will be on hand with Fire Engines,
Pumpers, and Tankers on display for the kids on the Lucas Oil Speedway
Midway. The area Firefighters will be "Passing the Boot" through the crowd
to raise funds for the Joplin Tornado Relief Efforts as well. The Tri-Lakes
Corvette club will also be an added attraction on the Midway this weekend as
15-20 of the best 'vettes around will be on display.
Classes in action this Saturday include the TNT Quick Shop Late Models,
Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks.
Rylan Long leads the TNT Quick Shop Late Model standings while Chase Jones
tops the Pitt's Homes A-Modified field. Defending Carson's Corner Napa
Factory Stock Champion Randy Gilmore once again finds himself on top of the
leaderboard in ultra competitive Factory Stock class. For complete and

Spectator Gates open at 5:00pm this Saturday with Hot Laps set to get under
way at 7:00 and the first big race of the night at 7:30pm. Adult Admission
at the gate is just $12 with Seniors and Active Military only $8. Juniors
(6-15) are just $5 and Kids 5 and under are always FREE at Lucas Oil
Speedway. Show Your
AAA Membership Card at the gate and receive $3 off any Adult or Senior
General Admission Ticket.
Family Passes are priced at only
$25 for this event which includes entry for two adults (age 16 and up) and
up to three youth (ages 6-15), discounts on kids meals, gift shop
merchandise, and funnel cakes.
A limited number of VIP Suites
are also still available for Saturday night and start at only $300 for a 12
guest unit which includes admission for 12, One Complimentary Food Tray off
the Suite Menu, and (2) Six Packs of your choice of Water, Soda, or Beer.

The Lucas Oil Speedway is

bathroom facilities is also available. With it's entrance located just
outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to
enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
