All Cub/Boy or Girl Scouts that come in uniform will receive Free General Admission to what many are calling the best racing action week in and week out. The Transport Graphics Chase For The Championship will feature the Budweiser RHS USRA A-Modifieds, Reliable Chevrolet Sportmods, Casey's General Stores Midwest Modz, Missouri Dirt Legends, Wheeler Metals Pure Stocks and Pepsi Street Stocks as the point battles and wide amount of different winners keeps in hi-gear. Currently Jackie Dalton of Carthage leads the USRA Modified class in both point standings and wins.The 4 time Track Champion has captured 2 wins this season while holding a 59 point lead over the always consistant "Mr Excitement"Terry Beckham II of Webb City.Beckham has yet to win a feature but is always a threat to win.Turkey Classic winner Jody Tillman of Branson and last weeks winner Erik Maggard of Springfield are neck to neck with Beckham II while defending champion Mitch Keeter fell to 5th place after an early exit last week.Out of 5 USRA Track point races the class has had 4 different winners so far. The Reliable Chevrolet SportMods also have a dog-fight going on as Republic's Bobby Maggard Jr holds a slim 2 point lead over Springfield's Reliable GM Crate racer JC Morton as ReedSprings driver Mike Hailman is quietly up to third place only 14 points out of the lead.Gary Rodocker and defending champion Wayne Graybeal complete a very talented top 5.Bobby Maggard has recorded 3 wins so far as Don Luna,Brandon Maggard,John Yeoman Jr also have wins. The Missouri Dirt Legends have a tight battle going on also as Joplin's Park Jones owns a 1 point lead over Dave comer a 2 marker lead over defending Champion justin comer and a 19 point lead over Rolla's Wayne Johnston with former champion Jason Rayle completing a strong top 5 in this always exciting class of cars.The Legends have been averaging around 20 cars each race night and aren't afraid to go 4 wide on the High-banked Clay Oval. 4th Generation driver Trevor Drake holds a 34 point lead over Sam Petty of Niangua in the Casey's General Stores Midwest Modz while Rusty Forrest had a bad night last weekend dropped to third place while Joplin's "Gentleman" Randy Belk in quietly in the hunt along with Clever's Gary Krebs.This second year class has growing quickly and is developing into a crowd favorite. Ava's Jack Hamer heads the PureStock points despite only 1 win so far but has been consistant in his heat races and top 5 feature finishes.Springfield's James Redus has been a 3 time feature winner and sets second in the points while Miami Okla driver Wayne Morris has been in the hunt also. Bryan Tillman and Tim Petty head up the StreetStock class with Tillman still undefeated in feature events.Tillman is 4-4 in StreetStock wins and also has a PureStock win to his credit so far. Grandstand Gates open at 5 with hotlaps at 6:15 and Racing at 7PM.
