Lucas Slick Mist USMTS Show-Me Shootout
WHEATLAND, MO (August 9, 2011) - This Saturday, August 13th at Lucas Oil
Speedway a class of the nations top modified drivers will make stop number
three of twenty-one in the Hunt for the USMTS Casey's General Stores
National Championship. In all, 46 of America's favorite, fastest and
most-feared dirt Modified drivers representing 12 different states comprise
the class of 2011, with each competitor possessing a legitimate shot at
becoming the next king of dirt Modified racing. The Lucas Slick Mist USMTS
Show-Me Shootout will award the top modified driver $3,000 to win and will
also feature the area's best SportMods and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory
Stocks.
The 2011 Hunt begins on Thursday in Jetmore, KS with Ryan Gustin leading all
drivers into the championship battle. Gustin has captured four out of five
regional titles and will start with a perfect base score of 80 points. Nine
time USMTS Champion Kelly Shryock sits in second with Rodney Sanders, Zack
Vanderbeek and Jason Hughes closely behind. Each event in the twenty-one
race hunt will be intense and action packed as drivers strive for the end of

With only six points separating James Flood of Billings, MO and Sundance
Keepper from Everton, MO in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks,
Saturday night's match up should make for a great race. As the season winds
down the chance for gaining points in the Rockstar Weekly Championship
Series does too. Chip Shaddox and Randy Gilmore remain a few points out from
the leaders. Other drivers are not far behind and still stand a chance at
moving up with a double points night scheduled for Saturday, August 20th.

Saturday night the Frog's Signs Junior Fan Club will host a Back to School
Bash. There will be drawings for backpacks loaded with school supplies.
Other activities include a fitness challenge with prizes, displays from
local organizations and much more!
The Lucas Oil Go Cart Slick Track is open and will be running Saturday
night. Tickets are just $5 per ride!
Spectator Gates open at 5:00pm this Saturday with Hot Laps set to get under
way at 7:00 and the first big race of the night at 7:30pm. Adult Admission
at the gate is just $20 with Seniors and Active Military only $15. Juniors
(6-15) are just $5 and Kids 5 and under are always FREE at Lucas Oil
Speedway. Show Your AAA Membership Card at the gate and receive $3 off any
Adult or Senior General Admission Ticket.
Family Passes are priced at only $40 for this event which includes entry for
two adults (age 16 and up) and up to three youth (ages 6-15), discounts on
kids meals, gift shop merchandise, and funnel cakes.
A limited number of VIP Suites are also still available for Saturday night.

The Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, MO. A
campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With it's
entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping
facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of
Dirt Tracks.
