Fan Appreciation Night Presented by Midwest LOW-E Insulation!
WHEATLAND,
MO (August 24, 2011) - Saturday night August 27 is Fan Appreciation Night at
Lucas Oil Speedway. Midwest LOW-E Insulation presents a night full of
give-a-ways, fun and awesome racing action. Midwest LOW-E will be giving out
mylar shopping totes to the first 1000 fans through the gate. At 5:30 PM a
drivers autograph session will begin with TNT Quick Shop ULMA Late Models,
Pitts Homes A Modifieds and Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks on display.
Saturday is also The Frog's Sign Jr. Fan Club Superhero Night. All kids
under the age of 15 will be given FREE admission if dressed in Superhero
costume or other Superhero gear! Special Superhero's will be on hand for
autographs and photos.
Hot Dogs will be on sale for just $1 all night, and 10% off will be given on
any purchase from Track Treasures! The Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly
Championship Series will be in action racing for double points. This is the
last chance for drivers to earn double-points and only one week before the
Championship wraps up on September 3rd.
Rylan Long from Greenfield, MO is currently in the points lead for the TNT
Quick Shop ULMA Late Models. Long is out in front by 85 Championship Points.
Long is followed by Tommy Cordray from Browning, MO sitting in second
position. Neosho, MO native Chris Hawkins is third in point standings and
is 107 points out of the lead. Larry Jones remains in fourth. Recently, Andy
Kennedy from Wheatland, MO moved into the fifth place position by a mere 11
points over Christopher Morelock. Saturday night will bring out the best in
these drivers striving to gain momentum before the championship race is
over.
Mickey Burrell continues to lead the points championship in the Pitts Homes
A Modifieds. Burrell from Fair Grove, MO has a 50 point margin over Chase
Jones in second. Jones has only a 10 point advantage over Urbana, MO's Lyle
Dietrich who rides in third. Saturday night could have a big impact on both
drivers with double points on the line. John Fellers in the 5J from
Flemmington, MO has his sight set on Dietrich only six points behind in
fourth position. Josh Woody from Waynesville, MO rounds out the top five.
Sundance Keepper from Everton, MO has kicked up his lead over James Flood
from Billings, MO in second. 21 points separate the two in the Carson's
Corner Napa Factory Stocks. Chip Shaddox from Wheatland, MO remains third in
points. Troy Reasoner Jr. moved into fourth place after last week's run,
pushing Mike Bitner back to fifth. Randy Gilmore from Wheatland, MO has had
a couple of rough weeks and remains in sixth.

The Lucas Oil Go Cart Slick Track is open and will be running Saturday
night. Tickets are just $5 per ride!
Spectator Gates open at 5:00pm this Saturday with Hot Laps set to get under
way at 7:00 and the first big race of the night at 7:30pm. Adult Admission
at the gate is just $12 with Seniors and Active Military only $8. Juniors
(6-15) are just $5 and Kids 5 and under are always FREE at Lucas Oil
Speedway. Show Your
AAA Membership Card at the gate and receive $3 off any Adult or Senior
General Admission Ticket.
Family Passes are priced at only
$25 for this event which includes entry for two adults (age 16 and up) and
up to three youth (ages 6-15), discounts on kids meals, gift shop
merchandise, and funnel cakes.
A limited number of VIP Suites
are also still available for Saturday night.
