SPRINGFIELD, Mo (September 17, 2011) - Steady rain and with more incoming forced officials to reschedule the MARS/MLRA Larry Phillips Memorial presented by Home Pro of Joplin to Sat October 1st. "We hated to do this,but we don't want the drivers and fans to attempt the trip and then have it weather out"Said owners Doug Bland and Jerry Hoffman. The track recieved steady rain early Sat morning and a major front was moving in again at 10AM. The race will feature the classic battle between the MARS and MLRA SuperLateModels along with USRA Modifieds,B-Mods,Midwest Modz,Legends and PureStocks.
