USRA Modifieds at Lucas Oil Speedway in 2012
WHEATLAND, MO (December 23, 2011) - Officials with Lucas Oil Speedway and
the United States Racing Association (USRA) announced today that the USRA
will sanction the the Pitts Homes A-Modifieds as part of the weekly Saturday
night program for 2012. "We are really excited to align our Pitts Homes A-Modifieds
with the USRA Weekly Racing Series for 2012," continued, Robinson. "This
will not only give our drivers a chance to compete for a healthy track point
fund but it also gives our drivers a chance to run for the USRA National
Championship."
In addition to a track point fund from Lucas Oil Speedway for the top driver
in 2012, the USRA offers a National Championship with a $10,000 top prize in
the USRA Weekly Racing Series. The partnership between Lucas Oil Speedway
and USRA will give drivers an opportunity to compete for a National Title
with more than 30 tracks across the country participating in 2012. "The USRA
rules package has been developed for parity and cost control between the
various engine packages, which is a plus to keep the racing affordable,"
stated Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager, Dan Robinson.
The Pitts Homes USRA A-Modifieds will hit the track for the first time on
opening night, April 14th, 2012. The Lucas Oil MLRA will be in action as
well to kick off the racing season. Several local businesses have jumped on
board to offer added purse money throughout the season to each of the four
weekly classes. Opening night will pay $750 to win for the Pitts Homes USRA
A-Modifieds. The Carson's Corner Napa Factory stocks will also race for $500
to win presented by Elite Auto Repair in Warrensburg, MO.
In recent months, Lucas Oil Speedway released the tentative A-Modified class
rules for 2012. The USRA Rules package will supercede the previously
released rules package for the Pitts Homes A-Modifieds and will be available
at www.LucasOilSpeedway.com. A complete library of USRA forms, licenses, and
rules can be found by clicking www.USRAracing.com.

Stores ULMA Late Models, Pitts Home USRA A-Modifieds, Carson's Corner NAPA
