SPRINGFIELD, MO (January 31, 2011) - Springfield Raceway
owners Jerry Hoffman and Doug Bland are proud to announce the GM Performance
and Springfield’s Reliable Chevrolet have joined forces to be the title
sponsor for the B-Modifieds and offer an even greater incentive in 2012 for
drivers using a GM 602 Crate motor in the B-Mods or a GM CT525 Crate motor
in the ultra-fast USRA A-Modifieds this season. For the 2012 Chase for the points championship,there will
be a whopping $350 to be split among the top 4 finishing GM Performance 602
Crate Motors in the A feature events. The highest finishing 602 Crate Motor purchased from
Reliable Chevrolet will earn an extra $125 to their race winnings while the
second highest will take home an extra $100 while third grabs $75 and
the 4th highest finishing 602 Crate motor will take home an extra $50. If
the GM 602 Crate Motor was not purchased from Reliable Chevrolet,then the
driver will only recieve 1/2 of that posted bonus money. Drivers need to make sure they have the invoice for their
motor.If a driver has purchased a B-Modified or 602 Crate Motor and it was
bought through Reliable Chevrolet,they need to make sure the serial numbers
match along with getting the invoice. “This program has really stepped-up the competition in the
B-Mods and with the rules that SpringfieldRaceway has placed on the Spec
Motor and GM 602 Crate motor we find it just about even every Sat night.”

as they also have stayed with the title sponsor for this class.Last season
point champion Bobby Maggard Jr put a GM 602 Crate motor in his car around
Mid-season and battled with fellow Crate racer JC Morton right down to the
wire in the championship chase and veteran Scotty Drake came on strong in
his Crate motor during the latter part of the season.” To add even more to the pie,the top finishing USRA A-Mod
driver using the GM CT525 Crate motor in his A-Mod will receive an extra
$100 if purchased from Reliable.If not then they will recieve an extra $50. Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield,Mo. is located at 3655
