Springfield Raceway Adjust Times For Turkey Classic
SPRINGFIELD, MO (March 7, 2012) - The staff at the Springfield Raceway have
adjusted the time-lines for this weekend's Turkey Classic which will open
the 2012 Racing season in Southwest Missouri.
Things have been pushed back 1/2 from the original agenda.
Pit gates will open at 11:30AM while hotlaps will start at 2:30PM. The draw
will cut-off at 3:30 with the drivers meeting slated for 4PM and racing to
start at 4:30PM.
With the time change coming and day-light staying a little
longer,Springfield Raceway officials feel that pushing the times back 1/2
hour will provide a better event for everyone.
The 5th Annual O'Reilly Turkey Classic presented by Bad Boy Mowers will
feature Late Models,USRA Modifieds,B-Mods and Legends.
Grandstand admission is only $20 for Adults with kids prices 6-12 only $5
and under 6 Free.Pit passes will be $35 as the top area drivers within the
4-state area compete. This event has yet to have a repeat winner.
