Practice a big success for I-35 Speedway

WINSTON, MO (March 18, 2012) - Cars from seven classes packed the pits for practice day at I-35 Speedway. Yes I said seven classes! Cars from all five I-35 Speedway classes as well as a vintage car and a modlite made laps on the 3/8 dirt oval yesterday. Drivers showed off new rides for different classes, different looking rides for the same classes or just brought out a brand new car for a shake down a week before the USMTS/USRA special event and two weeks before opening night.

Fans also filed into the grandstands and took tours of the new suite and new improvements that has kept I-35 Speedway management busy this offseason. Track owner Mike Johnson expects the new suite to be finished up in a few weeks.

This Saturday night the USMTS Modifieds and USRA Stock Cars and B-Mods make their way to I-35 Speedway. Pit Gates open at 4:30pm, Grandstands at 5pm and Hotlaps at 6:30pm. Last season we saw Ryan Gustin and Johnny Scott find victory lane. Who will it be this year?!?
