A very full grandstand came out to see the Gary Scott Memorial / W.O.W. 360 Sprint Car

MOBERLY, MO (May 27, 2006) - A very full grandstand came out to see the Gary Scott Memorial / W.O.W. 360 sprint car race and saw another good one at 24 Raceway, Moberly, sponsored by Isle of Capri Casino, Boonville, Missouri. Randy Martin made good use of the cautions to move through the pack of 20 starters to take the lead and win this 7th annual race. He's a repeat winner in this event at 24 Raceway, also taking the win at the 5th annual race in '04.

Vance Wilson is now a perfect 6 and 0 at 24 Raceway this season in the A-modifieds, and now has an increased bounty on him, going up to $175 to the next winner other than Wilson, and courtesy of Jim Brittingham of Bentz GM Country.

The Moberly Motors B-Modifieds had a new face in the winner's circle with Chris Leathers getting his 1st win in only 2 tries for the 2006 season. And in the Sportsman class, Jeff Creed got to the front to take his 2nd win for the season.

Next week will see the return of the Mod-Lites and Dwarf car series to 24 Raceway, along with the regular five classes of: both A & B modifieds, Sportsman, Hobby Stock and the 4 cly. Hornets.

Adult admission to the grandstand is $10, kids are $5 for ages 6 to 12. Rates for the popular Family Pass are $25, and that includes admission to the grandstands for 2 adults and 3 children, ages 6 to 12. Kids under 6 are always free. Dirt track racing at its best happens all season long at 24 Raceway, 3 miles east of Moberly Missouri on Highway 24. Racing starts at 7 p.m. with hot laps at 6:15 following a short drivers' meeting every Saturday night this season.
