Trish Dover to Make 360 Sprint Car Debut
SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (June 19, 2007) -- Trish Dover, the 305 Sprint Car sensation
will make her debut in a 360 on Friday, June 29 at the ASCS Midwest Regional
race at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, NE. Dover will pilot her
family owned No. 9T Eagle chassis with a rented Eckley Racing engine supplied by
her sponsor, RMS and Toby Chapman the 2006 ASCS Midwest champion.
Dover, the 2006 305 Sprint Car champion at I-80 Speedway already has two 305
feature wins under her belt so far in 2007 at I-80 and two top ten finishes at
Knoxville Raceway. Dover is excited about her first start in a 360. "I can't
stop smiling" Dover said, "I'm looking forward to this chance to race with the
ASCS."
This event will also mark the first time in six years she has raced in the same
division as her brother Jack. The Dover siblings competed against each other in
Mini Sprints on a local and regional level in 2001. Jack is currently racing a
410 at Knoxville Raceway along with selected 360 races.
