Mother Nature brings the night to a close earlier than
expected at The Hamilton County Speedway.

WEBSTER CITY, Ia. (May 13, 2006) - After surviving an early morning rain storm
and another storm about 6:00 p.m., officials and drivers were able to work the
track into shape a little later than scheduled. When the heat races got under
way, the sky was clearing and we were set to go.
The rain would hold off just long enough for us to advance through the heat races and start the Econo Stock Feature. On lap #6 of the Econo Stock Feature, the rain would return and this was a shower that would not go away. Heavy rains would force the fans and drivers to the exits. Next Saturday night will be double features in all classes, with the evening starting at lap 6 of the Econo Stock Feature. Hot Laps starting at 6:00 p.m. with racing to follow.
We look forward to another great night of racing next Saturday night.
