Barnyard Nation Hits Batesville, Launches New Web Site
By: Bucky Doren
BATESVILLE, AR (May 18, 2006) - The Barnyard Nation hit Batesville Speedway this
week to compete in the Modified Madness. These six modified drivers are also
proud to launch their new web site,
www.BarnyardNation.com .
With $15,000 up for grabs, it was hard for the Barnyard Nation to pass up a trip
to the famed Batesville Speedway (Batesville, AR). The thirty car field on
Saturday night is guaranteed $2,500 to start the A-Main on Saturday night.
Jon Tesch led the team by setting fast time on Tuesday night. The top two
fastest in time trials are locked into Saturday night's main event. Steve Arpin
also found himself in the top five in time trials qualifying fourth. Also in
competition this week are
Corey Dripps, Brad McEwan, and Tommy Myer. Mike Spaulding was unable to make the
trip.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night's card calls for a separate racing program
each night with starting line ups determined by a random draw. The top nine in
each night's A-Main will advance to the Saturday night program.
The Barnyard Nation is launching their new web site this week at
www.barnyardnation.com . More pages
and information will be uploaded over the next week or so.
The Nation is also working on finalizing details on raising money for the St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital throughout the 2006 racing season. A portion
of merchandise sales and other activities through the year will benefit the
efforts of St. Jude. To learn more about St. Jude, log onto their web site at
