Jeremy Grady Wins Thriller at Shelby County, Readies for
Crucial Labor Day Weekend!
STORY CITY, IA (Aug 31) - Jeremy Grady will bring the IMCA Deery Brothers
Summer Series point lead into two crucial series events over the Labor Day
holiday weekend. The Quincy Raceway in Quincy, Illinois, will host a $2,000 to
win race on Sunday, September 2, while the Boone Speedway in Boone, Iowa will
hold another $2,000 to win show on Monday, September 3. Jeremy, who owns three
IMCA Deery Brothers Summer Series victories through the first twelve shows this
year, holds a slim lead over Darrel DeFrance heading into the Labor Day
doubleheader. For more information on these two events, please access

The last several days have been up-and-down for the #43 team. Jeremy put on an
impressive driving display last Saturday night, August 25 at the Shelby County
(IA) Speedway. After starting thirteenth for the A-Main, the Story City, Iowa
native passed each and every car in front of him to bring home the thrilling
victory. The win was Jeremy’s eighth of the 2007 racing season!
On Tuesday, August 28, Jeremy recorded his first Did Not Start of the ’07
campaign, as he unfortunately failed to make the starting grid for a $2,000 to
win ‘Indee Open’ race at the Independence (IA) Motor Speedway. Following the
disappointing evening, Team 43 invaded the Lee County (IA) Speedway on
Wednesday, August 29 for the ‘American Short Track Nationals.’ After finishing
fifth in his competitive heat race, Jeremy drove his #43 machine to a fifteenth
place performance in the $2,000 to win A-Main.
