KROHN KO`S THE FIELD AT OSKY AND TAKES THE WIN

OSKALOOSA, IA (June 6) - Racing action at the Southern Iowa Speedway was second to nunn with all four classes going green to checkered except for the USRA hobby stock feature with only one caution all night. The night was sponsored by Mike's Tire and Alignment of Ottumwa featuring the O'Reilly Auto Parts USMTS touring series in action for the first time in 2007.

In the USRA stock car feature Nathan Wood of Keswick took the early race lead but lost the lead to Brad Pinkerton of New Sharon taking the lead on the third lap and paced the field to the checkers with Bert McDaniel Jr. taking second with wood in third and Colt Mather in fourth.

The second feature of the night was the USRA B-mods with Brett Moffitt taking the win over Matt Lettow who made a late race charge but came up just short and settled for second with Paul Underwood in third and Andrew Schroeder taking fourth.

First time checkers for Danny Thrasher of Agency who took the early race lead but Rick Landgrebe of Sigourney took the lead on lap four but Thrasher took the lead back from Landgrebe and lead the final five laps for the win. Landgrebe in second with Mike Shelton in third and Jason McDaniel in fourth.

The final feature was the O'Reilly Auto Parts USMTS touring series 30 lap main event with Al Hejna of Clear Lake taking the lead and paced the field till Jason Krohn of Slayton,Mn. took the lead and worked his magic and threw the knockout punch and pocketed the money holding of Kelly Shryock of Fertile who raced his way from tenth to the runner-up spot. Jason Hughes of Colcord,Ok. took the third spot after starting 8th and Al Hejna in fourth. All twenty-four cars that started the feature crossed the checkers after thirty laps of exciting action going green to checkered.

Next week will feature two nights of action with the 4th Annual Great America Stock Car Challenge presented by Mike's Tire and Alignment and PBM Performance Product with action being held June 13th and 14th with all classes running Wednesday and Thursday night being last chance qualifiers and the main events.
