MITRISIN TAKES MUSCO LIGHTING GREAT AMERICAN STOCK CAR
SHOOTOUT AT SOUTHERN IOWA SPEEDWAY

OSKALOOSA, IA (July 9) - The 13th annual MUSCO Lighting Great American Stock
Car Shootout at the Southern Iowa speedway featured four exciting classes
under the USRA banner with Jason McDaniel of Eldon taking the USRA hobby
stock main event. The Karl Chevrolet & Carter International USRA B-modifieds
went to Oskaloosa driver Brian Edel and New Sharon Iowa driver Brad
Pinkerton made his return back to SIS payoff in the MUSCO Lighting USRA A-modifieds
after taking three weeks off and drove the 17p machine to victory lane.
The grand finale of the night was the USRA stock car division with
Oskaloosa driver Brian Mitrisin taking the $10000 win over a stellar field
of competitors.
Next week will feature five classes in action with Mid-America 305 Winged
Sprints making there first off two appearances at the Mahaska County monster
half-mile.
