Budfest Concert Series Returns to Quincy Raceways.
QUINCY, IL (July 12, 2006) - Budweiser, The Rinella Co, & Quincy Raceways are
pleased to announce Budfest returning to Quincy Il. A full night of
entertainment scheduled for Saturday August 5th, 2006, including two stages for
non-stop music. With gas prices high, concert fans can save money and stay close
to home this summer with advance ticket selling for only $20. Quincy Raceways
which seats 2800, has chosen festival seating to help keep ticket prices low, no
track side seats will be set, but lawn chairs are welcome,
Special guest Hinder will rock the main stage at 5:30 PM. Hinder which has two
top 40 hits since November of 2005 is gaining fans quickly across the country
with their latest release Lips of an Angel currently at 9th on the Billboard
chart. Co-Headliners Firehouse and Warrant rocked they're way from the late 80's
through the mid 90's with numerous hits. Among an array of top ten hits
including Don't treat me bad,Firehouse brought the song Love of a Lifetime to #3
spot, and sold over 1 million records. Warrant which sold 8 million records has
5 #1 MTV Video awards and 5 Billboard top 40 Hits with the most memorable songs
being Cherry Pie, Uncle Tom's Cabin, and & Heaven.
Quincy Raceways will bring in a second stage to keep the music rollin' all night
long. A web poll was held to see which local bands would play at Budfest.
Sevend2 will take the stage as soon as the doors open at 4:30 pm. During the 2
set changes on the main stage Antidote and Torque will play their original
music.
Advance tickets are $20 and can be purchased at County Market 24th and Spring,
also in Pittsfield, Hannibal, and Keokuk locations. Tickets may be purchased at
the door for $23. Quincy Raceways is located in Quincy, Illinois less than a two
hour drive north of St.Louis on Interstate 172. The track is located two miles
