Quincy Raceways Revises Practice and Race Schedule By Jack Walbring QUINCY, IL (Mar 24) - Quincy Raceways Promoter Tony Rhinberger announced this afternoon that the practice and race schedule has to be revised due to the poor weather conditions. The practice scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 is cancelled. It is hoped that track preparation can begin on Tuesday if weather conditions permit and that the first practice can take place on Thursday, March 27 with the pit gates opening at 5 and Hot Laps at 6:00pm. The opening race night scheduled for Sunday, March 30 is now cancelled and is being replaced with a practice night with the Pit Gates opening at 3 and Hot Laps at 4:00pm. Two more practice nights are scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 3 with the Pit Gates opening at 5 and Hot Laps at 6:00pm. The spectator grandstands will be open with free admission with Practice Pit Passes costing $12. Please remember that this practice and race schedule is subject to change with the weather conditions. Opening night for Quincy Raceways featuring the Budweiser IMCA Late Models, Miller Lite Modifieds, Triple R Performance Engines IMCA Stock Cars and the Hobby Stocks is now scheduled for Sunday, April 6 with the Pit Gates opening at 3, Drivers Meeting at 5:45, Hot Laps at 6:00 and the first racing action of the 2008 season. The Triple R Performance Engines IMCA Stock Car point season will start with opening night on April 6 with all other divisions starting their points seasons on April 27.
