KidModz on tap at Quincy Raceways QUINCY, IL (August 26) - The new KidModz racing series will make their inaugural debut at Quincy Raceways on Sunday, August 31 during the Deery Brothers Summer Series for the J&J Steel IMCA Late Model Special Event. The AFCO KidModz Racing Series are full sized, all tubular modified chassis with a Ford 2300 4 cylinder motor. Our drivers range in ages from 8 years to 16 years. The series has raced at several different tracks throughout IL, IN, and KY in the 2008 season. The series was started by Bob Pierce Race Cars in Oakwood, IL. You can get started in KidModz by building your own car, to buying a rolling chassis or buying a turn-key race car. We believe the series will be responsible for developing the skills drivers need to compete on the regional and professional level at a later age. The KidModz will be joining the Deery Brother Summer Series Late Models, Miller Lite Modifieds and the Tim’s Machine Shop Hobby Stocks as all the divisions will be racing for an increased purse.
