Auto Xpress will be the 2008 Rookie of the Year sponsor JOPLIN, MO (Jan 3) - The Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series along with Auto Xpress located in Joplin, MO are pleased to announce that Auto Xpress will be the 2008 Rookie of the Year sponsor. Rob Burress, owner of Auto Xpress, will provide $1000 to the 2008 Rookie of the Year, along with a large trophy. This will make the 2008 Rookie of the Year recipient take home a hefty total with the cash and contingency prizes available for the Rookie. The Rookie of the Year guidelines have been update for 2008 as follows: To be considered for Rookie of the Year, a driver must not have competed in more than 5 total Show-Me Racin Series events, AND not won a Late Model A feature in his racing career. The series expects a large field competing for the Rookie of the Year title in 2008, so as always, it will be an exciting battle to keep your eye on.
