“Ohio’s Fastest 3/8 Mile” to Host the Ohio Challenge II

CAMARGO, IL (May 7, 2006) - The All Star Circuit of Champions are preparing for another shootout with the World of Outlaws on Saturday May 13th at the fast, high banked 3/8 mile K-C Raceway. The showdown has been dubbed “The Ohio Challenge II” by promoter Jim Neir.

The original “Ohio Challenge” was rained out last season and was not re-scheduled. However, the interest generated by the fans and the demand to bring these two series together prompted K-C Raceway to make it happen in 2006.

The concept of this showdown between the two longest running winged 410 sprint car groups is what set the stage for the Showdown Series between the two groups in 2006 with several co-sanctioned events across the Midwest.

K-C Raceway has been a regular stop for both traveling groups, but never have they been there on the same night. The All Stars have recently added some big guns to the traveling tour and the Outlaws will bring their band of thieves who will try to steal the loot. The “tin stars” of “America’s Series” will try to keep that money safe in Ohio.
