Logan Invades Sprint Invaders at Quincy

QUINCY, Il. (June 7, 2006) - Ricky Logan flew into to Quincy Raceways Wednesday
night to take part in the Sprint Invaders 360 show to driver for Chad Van Gorp.
Logan started the night off with a second place finish in his heat race after
coming from last place. Logan then settled for second in the dash to Matt Sutton
after a very spirited battle for the top spot. Sutton drew the number one for
the feature invert putting himself and Logan on the front row for the twenty
five lap main event. Sutton grabbed the lead at the drop of the green but it was
Logan at the start finish line on the first lap with Jesse Hockett in second and
Sutton in third. Logan then began to check out on the field leaving Sutton,
Hockett Chris Urish and Ryan Jamison to battle it out for the rest of the top
five spot. Logan held a comfortable lead until the checkered flag fell on the
twenty fifth lap followed by Hockett in second, Urish in third, Jamison in
fourth and Sutton in fifth. Urish, Rager Phillips, Sutton, Hockett all scored
the checkered flags in the heats with Brian Hetrick claiming the win in B-Main.
Vance Wilson led all twenty laps of the Miller Lite IMCA Modified feature event
with Henry Delonjay nipping at his heals the entire event. Delonjay had to
settle for the second spot with Terry Wilson in third, Robbie Reed in fourth and
Terry Houston in fifth. Delonjay and Joe Bliven were the heat race winners with
Vance Wilson also taking the win in the P&S Auto and Truck Collision Repair
Trophy Dash.
