Ideal Ready Mix Makes Concrete Plans with the SIA in 2007

BURLINGTON, IA. (Dec. 8, 2006) - The Sprint Invaders Association is pleased to
announce that Ideal Ready Mix will once again be the series’ Title Sponsor in
2007.
Scott Bonar, charter board member, reported that the Burlington, Iowa-based
sprint car association is very proud to have Ideal Ready Mix back again for the
series’ 6th season.
“Our reputation for quality racing events has garnered national attention,” said
Bonar. “We have received positive feedback from sponsors and fans and look
forward to continuing our relationship with Ideal Ready Mix and Johnny Johnson.”
In addition, E.G. Staats & Co, Inc. will be returning as a Heat Race Sponsor for
2007. The Mt. Pleasant, Iowa-based company sponsored the first Heat Race a year
ago.
At the SIA Annual Business Meeting on Sunday, December 3rd, two new Board
Members were elected, Jerry Glasgow of Burlington and Chris McGraw of
Stronghurst.
Jimmy Davies reported that 17 race dates are already booked, including
participation in the 9th Annual
Brodix Tournament of Champions at Knoxville in August.
A tentative schedule will be available in the coming weeks.
American Race Tire will replace Goodyear as the compulsory right rear tire for
2007. The choice of compound will be officially announced at a later date.
The first 20 paid memberships will have the ability to purchase a discounted
right rear for use this season. Membership prices are $125 for an owner or
driver, $250 for an owner/driver, and $25 for an associate member.
