O’Reilly Midwest All Stars Name Steve Libby as Series
Coordinator
CAMARGO, IL (4-21-07) – The Midwest All Star Series, committed to rebuilding 410
winged sprint car racing in the Midwest, has hired Steve Libby of Pacific, MO as
Series Coordinator for the group.
Libby brings to the Midwest All Stars a solid background in business, marketing,
and organization. As a former Service Manager for Plaza Motors Cadillac in St.
Louis, MO. and owner of Ozark Racing, Ozark Racing Collectables, and ORCA Killer
Tees, Libby will put his skills to work managing the new series in 2007.
“My goal is to build 410 winged sprint car racing in the region by providing a
great show for the fans, build relationships with race teams and tracks and
develop relationships with corporate partners in sponsorship and overall
marketing of the series and sprint car racing in general. We are going to bring
the excitement of wheel-to-wheel, REAL racing back to the forefront in the
region with some great drivers racing at tracks with a history of providing
great sprint car racing for the fans.”
Guy Webb, President of the Midwest All Star Series, is excited to have Libby on
board. “Steve is going to be a great addition to what we are trying to do. His
enthusiasm for the sport is contagious and his organizational skills and
background in sales and marketing will be a major part of trying to build the
excitement of 410 sprint car racing in an area that has a rich tradition in the
sport.”
The Midwest All Star Series begins a twenty race 2007 schedule with a full
weekend of racing starting on May 25th at Auto Tire and Parts Race Park in
Benton, MO. followed by a May 26th date at Lincoln (IL) Speedway. For more
