BURLINGTON, IA (Dec 1) - The Southeast Iowa-West Central Illinois based Sprint Invaders Association will again have Ideal Ready Mix as the Series Title Sponsor in 2008. Johnny Johnson was on hand at the Annual Awards banquet earlier this month to make the announcement. Alongside SIA Chairperson, Jerry Glasgow, Johnson spoke to the crowd stating, “I’ll give you sprint car guys one thing for sure, you have a loyal fan base that surpasses most other classes.” Ideal Ready Mix has been the series sponsor since 2004. Also on board with the SIA for 2008 will be E.G. Staats & Company in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. This will be the third year that Staats has been a heat race sponsor. Board members are currently firming up the 2008 schedule with promoters and Fair Boards and dates will be published as soon as confirmed.
